Day One of Unbroken Prayer
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
~ Romans 15:13
Have you ever received bad news, but somehow, deep down, you had a feeling that everything was going to be okay? It’s almost like you have an overwhelming sense of peace, even when it isn’t merited. Whether you knew it or not, that was the Holy Spirit working in your life.
When you don’t have enough faith on your own, the Holy Spirit can provide you with the faith you need to make it through even the most difficult of trials. He will empower you and give you peace. Be open to receiving His help.
The only way you can receive the help of the Holy Spirit is by spending time in prayer. Prayer prepares you to hear from the Holy Spirit and receive His gifts. The more time you spend in prayer, the more clearly you hear His voice. The more clearly you hear His voice, the less often you mistake it for your own.
Nothing is too difficult for the Holy Spirit. He wants to empower you daily. He not only wants to do great things for you, but He also wants to do great things through you.

Prayer for the power of the Holy Spirit
Very truly, I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these because I am going to the Father. ~ John 14:12
All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them. ~ Acts 2:4
And he has filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge, and with all kinds of skills— ~ Exodus 35:31
And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit. ~ Act 13:52
